Summary

Growing up surrounded by artists, I was taught to honor all creative urges, often transforming feeling into form. Very young, I learned how much I loved to learn and to remain curious about the way I saw the world which lead me to my passion of learning about the mind and teaching my findings to others. For the past seven years, I have woven the work on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy by Marsha Linehan into everything I do. In the classroom, I deeply value social emotional learning and pride myself on cultivating positive learning experiences. As a long-time Vipassana meditator, an abstract painter, an extreme adventurer, and a deeply dedicated teacher, I am happy with every hat I wear on any given day; I often wear them all at once.
