Knowledgeable in troubleshooting aircraft, aircraft weapons and weapon system on 4 different types of Aircraft. Supervises and inspect work of personnel on Aircraft, Aircraft weapons and weapon systems. Provides assistance and checks work in progress or upon completion to assure completeness, serviceability, and compliance with fire, safety and maintenance policies and procedures. Indoctrinates new team members in work methods, care of tools and equipment, safe working practices and other similar requirements and personally provides training of employees. Provides and trains tracking of maintenance inspections and inventories on proper software systems Has worked in fast-paced, stressful environment and has the ability to relay information quickly and accurately when needed. Ability to maintain high attention to detail, meet deadlines when assigned and quick adaptation to constantly changing priorities. Leads and performs required scheduled and unscheduled in-shop inspections, maintenance, functional checks, configuration and modifications to assigned equipment. Identifies, isolates and repairs malfunctions to the extent of applicable guidance found in technical orders, approved modification packages, or other applicable guidance. Debrief air crews after flight to analyze comments concerning deficiencies in performance of SMS and installed air munitions and Avionics equipment. Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace system related components. Test, inspect, adjust, repair or replace SMS/AME related, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required to meet operational specifications. Lean/ Six Sigma and LOG 238, Theory of Constraint, (TOC), Critical Chain Project Management CCPM and Project flow training. Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and prepare aircraft for flight. Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures. May perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspection tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications. Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures. Perform Quality functions such as: Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post flights) ,Corrective Action and Investigations. Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures. Performs Aviation Maintenance Technician tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications. Use technical specifications, sketches, manuals, drawings, engineering instructions and FAA forms and publications to accomplish work assignment. Maintains Company and FAA required records and inspection forms. Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment. Plan and organize the sequence work packages in such a way as to promote safe, efficient operation and meet predetermined schedules in a timely manner. Operate any and all types of information systems required to perform assigned tasks. Including but not limited to Company WEB based systems and Microsoft Office products. Interpret and perform to the requirements of airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters and other approved accepted data. Applies applicable mathematical calculations to setup and use precision measuring tools, to measure gaps, heights, angles, hole diameters and depths. Make production aids to facilitate work assignment. Maintains necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work. Qualifications include DOD Secret Security Clearance, B-52, B-1 (2 years), B-2 (1 Year), F-18 (8 years)
