Luis Gutierrez

I am a student from Chandler High School. I am currently applying to the University of Arizona because I have visions to chase that isn't a mirage, rather a wheel of fate that has been rolled already. That fate and destiny is to become a radiologist. I want to be able to attend the beautiful campus of UofA because it is what will put me a step ahead of others in expectation soon to be exceeded by us Wildcats. I am a man of little words for quick decisions, but I can be prolific if a peer needs the assistance. I can be a leader that is a team player and can be an even greater follower that will follow the plan as best as I can. I strongly believe in investing and not wasting time, which ultimately shaped me into the person that takes no shortcuts. I will use my gifted intelligence to find easier ways, but there is no investment in cutting corners. Learning about a topic isn't enough and I am the person that will go out of my way to learn more about that topic on my own time in order to further enchant my comprehension of the given concept. I am a student who strives for the best and a student who will not set sights lower than the wheels of fate that have already been set for me.

• Achieved above average academic success through effectively changing bad habits into less significant and turned into a habit that is beneficial.
• Achieved he loss of 40lbs by battling with myself and exceeding past my limits to be able to pursue my intended goal of a muscular and defined body that shows that hard work does pay off in the long run, you just actually have to start walking first.
• I have been a great help to locations that need help or vounteers by helping in whatever is needed to be done, and doing so without question.
• I have developed a way to be able to cope and relax with the use of the gym or simply yourself.

I workout to cope and de-stress myself from any and all struggles and issue that I may be experiencing. I workout to improve my self confidence which translates to the classroom of me not being intimidated to meet new people and develop plans knowing that I may be incorrect. I also workout with my twin brother that happens to be the person that is there to make sure I don't get too comfortable with taking my time on things. Working out has also created a way to be able to grind extremely hard to the point where my mind wants to give up, but my mind will be able to almost fully function after the workout.
