  • Regular PM's, consisted of calibrating equipment, replacing if faulty.
  • Worked on Auxiliary boiler, repaired gas valves and calibrated when needed. Fixed O2 sensor on aux boiler.
  • Worked on Steam turbine and Gas Turbine
  • Steam turbine work consisted of faulty air valves, faulty transmitters. Did a full tear down of the steam turbine, helped with the speed sensors and vibration sensor inside the turbine. Installed a junction box for new thermocouples. Removed all thermocouples and transmitters and reinstalled and calibrated.
  • Gas turbine work consisted of faulty thermocouples and faulty air valves. Replaced and calibrated according to GRDA and compliance. During outage removed all blade path thermocouples. Disk cavities thermocouples, Bentley Nevada vibration sensors and reinstalled and adjusted/calibrated as needed. Helped take apart turbine on Major outage.
  • Regular work on electrical equipment such as motors and lighting equipment.
  • Worked on silos and fly ash, repaired and troubleshooted atomizers.
  • Became proficient on there software's Ovation and Netmation, learned to read alarms and trend depending on what needed done. Adjusted valves or sent commands on GRDA request or to properly have plant running.
  • After outage from end of February till end of May helped commissioned start up of plant.
