- Kormarine engine services are contracted by Hyundai Global services of America's OEM therefore we represent them on the vessel and work strictly to their guidelines and procedures referring to OEM manuals.
- Communicate with the Service Coordinator to receive the work order for service jobs.
- Inspect and document all parts that are received in crates.
- Read and understand machinery drawings, diagram from OEM service manual.
- Prepare reports such as inspection reports, quality reports and inventory reports chronological order.
- Ensure all documentations are submitted in a timely manner through the work process.
- Ensuring parts that have been received are cleaned thoroughly inspected and prepped for assembly
- Experienced with HIMSEN H32/40V engine such as rebuilding cylinder heads (replacing valve seats, valve guides, valve springs with keepers and rocker overhead set, injector bushings and lapping contact surface of combustion chamber) and pressure testing to ensure proper operation of cylinder head after rebuild.
- Rebuilding high pressure fuel injectors (up to 375 bar) and fuel pumps.
- Ensuring proper tolerance during assembly. As well as refurbishing oil pumps, water pumps, pistons, and cylinder liners
- Also required to meet strict deadlines for engine sets and reports must be submitted to the customer within the time given.
- Performed maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve related issues.
