  • Providing low pressure steam & cooling water to 4 office towers and retail roughly 8 million square feet.
  • The Hudson River is the source for Heat rejection (no cooling towers).
  • Performing duties associated with the operation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning and heating equipment. will make adjustments and major repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment and component parts of heating and air-conditioning systems.
  • River Water Equipment
  • Using hydraulic machine (10,000 psi) to open and close PHX’s.
  • When PHX is open; power washing 500 plates, inspecting and repairing as needed.
  • Pulling out river water supply pumps for maintenance or repair.
  • Thermal Storage Equipment
  • 13 tanks 1 empty 288,000 gallons each tank.
  • In a closed loop system making 42 degree water and storing it in Water Storage Tanks to use in replacement of Refrigeration Machines depending on electrical demand of the month and building load for the day.

  • Running and maintaining equipment in water treatment, adding chemicals, changing filters as needed to open and closed loop systems.
