My job as a catcher was to receive orders. Each ticket that was given to me had an order number and an amount of books for each order. My job was to place each order in numerical order and by ticket number. I was also in charge of making sure that all soft-covered books were glued together well and processed thoroughly before they were sent for hard covering.
