As an order filler, I am working in -10 and -20 degrees every shift. My tasks include grabbing the right product and making sure the quantities I grab are accurate, according to the unit we are provided with. As a result, I stack the boxes on a pallet and follow the trip until the end. Our unit and headset tell us where to go and how many boxes are required per trip assigned.
After the trip is done, we make sure to place the right label on the top right corner.
I am certified on a RR forklift. I will replenish slots when asked to help, usually when we are short-handed. All of these tasks are done while following the warehouse safety and procedure rules
While being a specialist, I was in charge of printing off all paperwork for the PCDs. I would also have to enter all information from the jobs completed into Thermo Fisher's database, letting the bigger bosses look at how the production rate is going.
I worked on the production floor, so I knew what is required of employees per job task and how to fix issues when they occur. Building chambers can be mentally and physically exhausting, when you are new to this type of production
