  • Promoted to Maintenance Mechanic Technician after 5 years of working for Consolidated Container Company. I started out doing preventive maintenance. I was responsible for greasing the machines, changing hydraulic filters, changing air filters, replacing broken parts, and inspecting for any damage parts to replace them before they break. This also included ways to prevent down time in the machine, checking oil levels, accumulator pressure, inspecting hydraulic hoses for leaks, temperature reading, replacing heater bands when they went bad, replacing broken Gauges, replacing rotacs, rebuilding air
  • Valves, changing oil both hydraulic and gear oil, replacing chains on the trimmers, rebuilding clamps, replacing shot cylinders, replacing extruder screws, replacing thrust
