- Assisted pipefitters in daily work setup. Inspected and and insured proper functionality of tools prior to use.
- Utilized harness to safely operate manlift or scissor lift after performing a saftey inspection.
- Assited in installing CPVC or PVC pipe according to ISO. Added couplings and glue everything into place.
- Lift or move steel or poly pipe into or along the racks using chain falls or come-alongs with the right rigging equipment.
- Measure and mark for U-bolt installation.
- Assited in grinding supports, leveling, and ensuring support is square while placing into position on racks for welder to tack and weld.
- Help install wear pads on stainless steel pipes for welder to tack.
- Hydro pressure tested stainless and poly polypipe. Performed HDPE fusion where needed to installation poly pipe. Added blinds where required in order to perfom pressure test on pipe lines.
- Installed butterfly valves, flow valves and PAC static mixers. Bolted up flanges, and torquing.
- Flagged forklift operators and crain operators using hand signals to move pipe or materials into location. Used a flag to direct traffic.
