Summary
I have recently graduated and got a degree in chemical engineering at Qatar University. I am eager to apply all the skills and knowledge I acquired during my academic study, yet I am also motivated to learn, grow, and excel. As a student, I was able to gain experience in many areas related to chemical engineering, such as process design, chemical plant modelling, safety risk management, and environmental studies. Through this experience I greatly enjoyed working with interdisciplinary teams in challenging assignments.
I was also involved in a research group lead by highly experienced professors and in extracellular competitions held by the university and corporations in the industry. Through these experiences I gained experience in plant design, and in process modelling. I also improved my capabilities in conducting professional research and presentations while further growing my passion and enthusiasm for transforming the knowledge I learned through my academic study into practical use to serve society and work toward satisfying my county’s vision. I believe that my hardworking nature and passion for learning will help me in distinguishing my self.

Project achievements:
- Achieved posable significant profits by fulfilling the growing demand of methanol (with 30% profit rate of return).
- Utilized the abundant resource of natural gas in Qatar to enhance Qatar’s economic growth, to work toward satisfying Qatar's 2030 vision.
- Designed the largest methanol production plant in Qatar with a capacity of 1.5 MMTA.
- Applied heat integration that resulted in total elimination of needed heating utility in the plant, reduction of the plant cooling utility by 27%, reduction of the heat exchangers area in the plant by 46%, and overall 44% capital cost reduction.
- Used sustainable advanced technology (ATR, autothermal reforming technology) that has minimum environmental footprint ( eliminated Nox and Sox emissions).

- Achieve zero liquid discharge waste in desalination processes.
- Brine disposal environmental impact reduction, relative to common brine discharged methods applied by the industry.
- Production of useful chemicals that can be repurposed in the desalination process or sold.
- Elimination transportation and disposal costs of brine.
- Production of clean water from brine.
Event Tree Analysis (ETA) Tool for Safety Risk Assessment and Mitigation. (Process Safety and Hazard Identification Course Project 2022)

- Deconstruction of the working mechanism of the ETA tool.
- Construction of a simple guide for using ETA (In a poster form)
Utilization of Microbial Fuel Cells for Wastewater Treatment (Wastewater Treatment Course Project, 2021)

- Performed comprehensive study on the working principles of microbial fuel cells.
