- Patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent criminal activity.
- Respond to emergency calls for service and provide assistance as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and arrests made.
- Communicate with victims, suspects and witnesses to gather and provide information regarding criminal events.
- Conduct preliminary investigations.
- Interview witnesses and victims to determine critical details relevant to each case.
- Investigate suspicious persons or activities to determine if criminal activity is present.
- Serve criminal warrants and subpoenas to suspects in public and private locations.
- Follow up on leads provided by informants and other sources of information to develop case solvability.
