Summary

Passionate and experienced music educator and multi-instrumentalist with a strong foundation and extensive experience in culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices. Committed to fostering a music classroom where all students feel represented, engaged, and empowered through, social-emotional learning, diverse musical traditions and creative exploration. At the age of 10, I was personally changed by music as I embarked on a lifelong journey as a music student that would inspire me to want to create spaces where students can find themselves in music, just as I once did.

With a background in instrumental instruction and ensemble leadership, I bring a deep understanding of both musical pedagogy and student-centered learning. Over the past few years, I have expanded my professional skill set in adjacent educational and creative fields, which has enriched my perspective as an educator and solidified my commitment to lifelong learning. Now, I am eager to return to the music classroom with broadened assets to inspire and support diverse learners.
