Summary
I am currently the Receiving Supervisor for Utz Brands at the Kindig facility. I have been with the company since 2012. I have worked my way up from being a temp on day shift as a back-up machine operator to being hired on fulltime as a back-up machine operator on night shift. I worked two and half years on night shift, then was hired on dayshift as a packaging machine operator. Utz was kind enough to then send me to leadership classes to help become a team leader in the company. I have also worked with the Lauras International team to help improve the company's efficiency. I then took the Receiving Lead Person position at the Kindig Facility to put myself in a leadership role. Utz then chose me to participate in a Lean Six Sigma class and project to accomplish my Green Belt / Black Belt Certification. I then became a Continuous Improvement Project coordinator at the High St Facility. After a short term there I realized that I wanted to go back into warehousing and accepted the position I am in now as the Receiving Supervisor.
