Worked as a 'Wheel finishing team member' for the first year & a half. We would rub / soak these 20lb wheels of cheese in a variety of different herbs & spices & / or liquids. Did that until I was promoted to our cheese grating department, where I make cheese paste. To make cheese paste we would melt down a bunch of different kinds of cheeses into this huge vat, package it, & set it in a cooler where it would cool back down into a block of fresh cheese. Pretty physical labor, but at the end of each day, we would clean & sanitize everything for tomorrow.
I worked here for a bit helping prepare & cook our Friday Fish Fry's, & jumping back & forth between bartending. Cleaned up & restocked at the end of the night. Would also occasionally drive the beverage cart around the golf course making drinks for people.
I worked here throughout high school & 1 year into college. Started out as a dishwasher & eventually learned how to cook / prepare everything. Would then bounce back & forth between the bar / restaurant & running concession stands in the summertime.
