I have held several positions over the years including as a SCEP trainee, as a soil conservation technician, a soil conservationist, and a non-supervisory DC. This varied experience has allowed me to develop my technical, team building, leadership skills. Having a diverse background gives me a unique perspective and helps me to understand many different types of conservation practices and different types of producers.

  • I am in charge of the day to day operations of the Red Lake Falls Field office.
  • - Assist producers with conservation contract implementation and provide technical knowledge
  • Red Lake Falls FO duties include
  • - Manage 29 active CSP contracts, 49 active EQIP contracts
  • - Daily Contract MGMT
  • - Completing field checks
  • - Received 61 applications for EQIP in 2025 and 22 for CSP
  • - Handled daily foot traffic and responded to inquiries from producers
  • - Completed CRP eligibilities for FSA and completed CRP plans
  • - Worked with Red Lake County SWCD and Red Lake watershed district to source funding for producers
  • Assisted SWCD with techinical and programmatic guidance for RCPP AFA
  • In addition to day-to-day office duties I also assisted the team in the following ways
  • - Continued to work with grazing producers in Norman, Red Lake and East and West Polk to provide technical expertise to livestock producers for the team and beyond the planning process
  • - Provided technical and Programmatic guidance to less experienced team members for CStwP and EQIP signups
  • I have also conducted outreach to the community in the following ways
  • - Leading the local workgroup meetings with the district
  • - Spoke at the Red Lake County land owner meeting about NRCS programs and a second presentation on soil health
