Neuroscience Research - Provider Burnout (Expanded) - University of St. Thomas - 01/2020-09/2020

  • Project goal is to expand research on provider wellness to find possible significance.
  • Wrote proposal with professor to the Dean's office, which opened up funding for the project.
  • Modified and converted packet of questionnaires into online survey through Qualtrics. This allowed expansion of the study to healthcare providers across the country.
  • Used a Pearson Product Moment Correlation to test the independent variables against the dependent variable.

Neuroscience Research - Provider Burnout - University of St. Thomas - 06/2018-09/2018

  • Project goal is to find correlations between medical providers and burnout rates.
  • Developed three independent variables, religiosity, perfectionism, and value on the meaning in life, that would potentially impact one's mental wellbeing.
  • Compiled appropriate questionnaires to test the variable levels. Measured the correlation each had to a wellbeing index completed by each participant. The ideas and data from this research developed into a community mental wellness program.

Psychology Research - Music and Autobiographical Memory - University of St. Thomas - 09/2017-04/2018

  • Conducted research studying how music relates to the human autobiographical memory
  • Coded each memory for how specific/vivid they were and marked each detail as an internal or external memory to the person, then used the data to see how it correlated to gender
  • Accepted to and presented findings at the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA)Conference in Chicago, IL
