Collaborated with a team of three to develop and implement the first-year program at Camp Myles in Punta Gorda, FL. This program helps teach new scouts how to succeed in their first year. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout is a significant accomplishment—only 2% of all Boy Scouts earn it, as it requires years of commitment, leadership, and skill development.
Although I earned my Eagle Scout rank nearly two years ago, I remain actively involved in scouting. I continue to volunteer as a camp counselor each winter in Punta Gorda. During my time in Boy Scouts, I was elected to two leadership positions: one in the "Make a Say" group and the other in the Order of the Arrow. As a result of my leadership roles, I was selected to attend National Youth Leadership Training to strengthen my leadership abilities.
