Luke Moody

I was a Day Camp Counselor. My team of counselors met everyday with 18-20, eight to nine year olds. We were responsible for taking the kids through different activities for the day. Sometimes we needed to create our own activities. We kept a positive and fun attitude. We learned lots of patience.

I lead the group twice a week on devotions from the Bible.

I was a life guard again this year.

I was a part of a kitchen staff that was responsible for prepping, cooking and cleaning up the kitchen for over 250 kids 3 times a day each week for the summer.

I also had the opportunity to interact with the campers and learned how to better my time management.

I was also a lifeguard during the day.

I was expected to know how to use basic tools like a drill, wrench etc. I worked with a team to install units. I learned how to tape duct work. I learned how to change filters. I took the initiative to work on items myself. I problem solved when issues arose.

I was a food truck and ice cream shop sales employee. I was responsible for creating taking orders, creating sandwiches and scooping ice cream. I was efficient and effective in my work. At the end of the shift, I was responsible for cleaning and prep for the next day. There were times I managed the ice cream shop by myself and multi-tasked many orders. When others worked with me, I was the lead sales associate. I did instruct new employees with procedures.
