I went to the U.S. Open Golf Tournament in the summer of 2022, and I was fascinated by how spectacular these players were. I watched how these golfers hit the ball 300 yards consistently, and I told myself that if I worked hard at golf, then I could become extremely good at the sport. Before I went to this event, I played golf but I had never taken it seriously. However, after this event, I started to dedicate my time to working on my golf skills. Over these last 2 years, I have been working at golf and putting an excessive amount of effort into this sport. My first step was I started working with a golf pro at Northwood Country Club. He has been helping my game improve, and I am seeing more consistency with my shots. I play on the varsity golf team at St. Mark's, and I shot my personal best round of 78 in my first tournament. At the beginning of the golf season in February, my handicap was a 15.5. As of May 14, my handicap is a 9.9, and I am continuously working to lower it. I have been working incredibly hard at golf, and a dream of mine would be to play on the PGA tour one day.
