Student Government Association - Member with responsibility of the liaison to the Inter Fraternity Council (IFC). Weekly meetings to discuss current and new activities at CMU. Reviewed, discussed, and voted on new policies under the SGA. Responsible for relaying these changes with the IFC group and discussing the details associated with new changes.
Inter Fraternity Council Member - IFC oversees all the fraternities on CMU campus. Duties included reviewing rules within the fraternities and discussing which ones needed revision. Very involved in Greek activity life overview and action needed to make Greek life safe for all its members.
IFC, Vice President of External Affairs - Facilitated building and maintaining relationships with influential individuals and organizing events for the community. Coordinated Greek Clean the Street communication with CMU fraternities and sororities to help clean up our community around our campus. Was able to establish a team of over 300 fraternity and sorority members to successfully complete our mission while partnering with Mt. Pleasant Police and Fire Station.
IFC, Vice President of Marketing - Responsible for all media released for communication with fraternity. Coordinated efforts with other fraternity councils. Created flyers needed for fundraisers, Rush Week, Greek Week, and other events. Safeguarded that other fraternities’ social media followed established rules.
Volunteer - Churches: Provided the Homeless with a place to stay needed assistance to watch over them on location with the Homeless from 10pm to 3am to make sure they were taken care of during the night. Habitat for Humanity: Organized the inside/outside of the store to clean the areas and make the appearance more welcoming.
