As a reline Technician/ Mill repairman I assisted in installing and dismantling liners inside the mill, but before all that I would get minesite/ kaltech approval for a work, cutting, hotwork, working at heights hole watch permit before starting work. I would then do a walk around with minesite safety to different points of energy contact points and run a L.O.T.O.T.O-(Lock-out, Tag-out, Try-out) test making sure energy points can not be turned on while working in or around the mill. We do that by locking it down with chains, multi locks, knob lock. Then I would secure a working place examination making sure the grading-(floor) is not rotting like cracks/rust and then set up rattle guns, hoses, water trap to minesite air lines. Checking all rattle guns oilers are oiled up to specs, it's different for different guns. Then would wait for a call from supervisor on the radio to start work.
I would drive a 26ft Box Truck w/liftgate to the Amazon warehouse and pick up pallets of amazon mail that was going to USPS offices throughout CO/WY.
Then, I would deliver them to their designated post offices
while also maintaining the pre and post operation checklist for every trip,
I would deliver hotel Linens from the Gaylord Rockies Hotel to 4 different hotels in the Denver metro area clients, then pick up their soiled linens and take them back to the plants so they get washed and ready for delivery the following day.
My job as a driver helper was to deliver food and beverages to and from the aircraft in a safe and timely manner according to OSHA guidelines.
As a helper I would guide the driver to the aircraft making sure he was clear of any overhead and close contact of the aircraft, chock the tires, climb into the back of the truck, safely operate the boom in the truck to reach the aircraft door.
After, I would open aircraft door with the approval of the flight attendant.
Lastly swap out the used food/beverage carts with the new carts we had on the truck and fulfilling any requests the crew needed.
My job as a Driver Helper was to assist the driver with loading and unloading of a 48ft trailer by using a 2 wheeled dolly and delivering products like frozen foods, soda syrups, and dry goods into fast food restaurant and stocking them where clients wanted them placed.
Also delivering product in a certain amount of time given according to the size of our load for that particular stop.
My main duties was to make sure all bags and cargo made it to their destination in a timely manner, whether it be driving to the next gate over or down to the freight house(United Cargo Building).
I had to make sure all bags and cargo were secure in our carts during transport to ensure the quality of product
If flights were cancelled or delayed i would then reroute bags accordingly, to the passenger flight path or booked route/s.
