● Enforce Office policies, safety and procedures and applying state and federal regulatory requirements.
● Effectively communicating policies, procedures and program requirements regarding CalFresh, CalWORKS and MediCal and reciting rights and responsibilities to customers at initial and continuing applications.
● Evaluation of eligibility of each applicant including calculation and input of customer’s data and coding into the appropriate database and software to establish eligibility and amount of benefit for all appropriate programs and journal information in each case and referral of cases to the Fraud Control Unit if discrepancies are not clarified with clients.
● Attending the Lobby being professional and able to stay focused while under pressure with difficult customers.
● Able to work on my own, and as a team player as well, prioritizing tasks effectively and problem solving.
● Mentoring Trainees, acting as a resource for interviewing, processing, and identifying trainees’ needs for reinforcing their skills and assisting in SFE meetings.
● Attending PACE Staff Meetings and completing TAD/PERC Trainings as well.
