In this position, there are different activities, functions, and responsibilities; among these, the most important is to comply with hygiene and health standards by maintaining and preserving different foods for correct use, avoiding and preventing diseases caused by their handling. As we are also responsible for serving the children directly by interacting with them and offering them their daily meals, within this function we are also responsible for the cash register, handling different amounts of money, and updating the system for paying for their lunches, as well as being responsible for daily and morning cleaning to maintain cleaning standards in the cafeterias, avoiding contagious diseases.

The achievement obtained has been learning how to handle food, avoiding cross-contamination among themselves. I was trained in different topics of care for minor students, prevention of cases of abuse inside and outside of schools, and many more annual updates that are required.

• Provided support to fellow Child Nutrition Assistants during peak hours.
• Monitored temperature of food items during storage and cooking processes.
