  • Worked as a temporary employee through Ultimate Staffing. I greet staff employees of NLACRC at their Lancaster office. I do fever temperature checks for everyone that arrives into the building, according to the Health Guidelines of the Los Angeles County Health Department. I review the list of Covid-19 related questions with employees to be sure they are not having any symptoms before their scheduled shift. I gather mail from 3 mail rooms on the floor and prepare mail for daily outgoing mail run. I collect incoming mail from postal mailbox and stamp date every envelope to be given to intake Office Assistant mail clerks. I use the Sandis system to review consumer's first and last name to gather their UCI number. I review common areas on the floor, to be sure that all supplies are filled with appropriate PPE for employee's daily use. I assist in any type of office supplies needed that are requested via email, which also includes any type of PPE equipment needed for all CSCs. I also assist with Security staff that is stationed in the lobby to greet the public, with the same temperature checks that are handled for employees. I assist with vendors or contractors that arrive into the building to do their work assigned for the day. Responsibilities are to be sure that staff has ample supply of office supplies such as paper, mailing literature, and envelopes that are needed for the day. I update a daily Excel Covid worksheet, along wih a monthly PPE worksheet for Office Assistant Manager Taneka Townsend.
