  • Perform initial Patient assessment using the SBAR, medication reconciliation and initiate safety Protocol.
  • Perform medication administration: IV administration, PO administration, IV Push Administration
  • TPN administration, IV Fluid Administration, PO Medication Administration, IM Administration as stated in the EMAR. Observing the medication rules guiding narcotics.
  • Blood Administration using the check list of blood Administration to avoid any blood transfusion Complications.
  • Perform Forley Catheter Insertion and follow up with CHG bath to avoid CAUTI. Also follow up Order of removal.
  • Perform CBI for patients that had BPH procedure follow up with the stated order of urinal Clarity.
  • Administer tube feeding, putting the initial rate and water flush, progresses to the stated goals using the Kangaroo pumps and other types of feeding tube machines.

  • Able to insert peripheral IV for patients to receive iv push medications and fluids.
  • Able to collect laboratory orders both through peripheral, Port and PICC Lines.
  • Monitor Blood Sugar patients and give insulin following the providers sliding scale and protocol for hypoglycemia.
