  • Set-up all financial relationships, systems, and processes necessary for US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) compliance.
  • Secured all funding for the agency including all operations, capital construction and bond initiatives (Certificates of Participation ) to sustain current operations, expansion and new prison funding.
  • Directly managed all administrative and legislative divisions of the Department such as budget formulation and submission to the Colorado General Assembly, accounting, purchasing, business planning, business development, strategic planning and research and administration operations. In addition, all Clinical Services, Correctional Industries Operations, Academic and Vocational Programs as well all Physical Plant activities and expansions were approved and coordinated through this position.
