I have had formal training in suicide assessment and assist the PACC team with triage of the veterans who walk into the PACC clinic. My duties also included running the Ambulatory Detox Program(ADP), providing medically supervised detox from alcohol and benzodiazepines independently. I provided medical clearance for those veterans who were being started on Suboxone for opioid withdrawal in the ADP. I plan to seek Suboxone prescriber training when it becomes available to the ARNP. I was also a sub investigator in the VA Cooperative Studies Program (#590). I provided medical clearance for research participants and offered support for any medical concerns that came up.

- I am writing to request that you review my resume and consider me for an interview. I am looking for my forever job as I truly enjoy working as an APRN. I have been and APRN since 2015 and have found myself working with psychiatry, pain management, house calls and primary care. I also worked most of my life as an RN in the emergency department. My current specialty is Adult / Gero and I am currently working in primary care at Vera Whole Health. I truly enjoy my position with Vera and am saddened to have to look for employment elsewhere. Unfortunately commuting from Spanish Springs to Carson City is not working out for my family and there are no positions available closer to my home, so I find myself looking for new employment. I would like to consider full time or part time in the Reno/Sparks area, and I am open to new ideas. I would like to stress that I do not job changes lightly and that I am truly looking for a team to work with that believes in amazing patient care and customer service.
