Work History

Faith-Based Ministry

Family Churches
Northern CO And Denver
11.1974 - Current
  • In reflecting upon my life from a young girl, I remember always being encouraged to be a blessing to others… whether it was speaking or sharing my gifts of music or giving gifts to them!
  • It was a blessing to say, Hello to visitors, to make their children feel welcome and to ask them to join me for our Children’s Ministries … which I taught for 34 years!
  • My family and I also shared our musical talents wherever we went … and Dad was asked to sing at churches and relatives’ memorial services!
  • Even to this day, I look for opportunities to bring a smile to someone and to share a word or a gift that will elevate their hearts!

Greeley Senior Living: Volunteer

At Grace Pointe and Greeley Place
Greeley, CO
01.2014 - 10.2016
  • I enjoyed playing background piano music for the residents during meals and during my visits!
  • I began the Sunday services at Grace Pointe with 3 residents and had the dining area with fulfilled residents and family members towards the end of the 1 1/2 years of service!
  • I played the piano and shared the message!
  • All of the songs and key points of the message were in print … so the residents could follow along with me!
  • Afterwards, they could review the hymns and words shared within the privacy of their apartments!
  • During that time, I also offered chair and table massage to the residents at a senior price!
  • And I met a lady who appreciated my visits and conversation at the Greeley Place!
  • As time progressed, I became her friend and her personal assistant for 2 1/2 years … enjoyed many treasured moments with her!
  • From an early age, I became the granddaughter who learned and treasured my grandparents and supported them throughout their lives … even to their closing days and moments!

Professional Educator/Aunt/Nanny

Lydia Ann Champeau

  • My educational background is Elementary Ed/Early Childhood/ Elementary Literacy!
  • I also worked with their academic, social, motor, emotional, and communication abilities!
  • I took my nephews to educational/therapy classes and became the primary individual for the grocery shopping and such within the home!
