While working and running HD Concrete Company we were the second leading subcontract concrete company in the metro area in Oklahoma City at that time. The company that was number one had over an 80 man crew. The most people we ever had working for us at one time was 20. We could pour more concrete and the quality was ten times better than companies with the big concrete laser machines. We did everything by hand the old fashioned way. My Dad started pouring concrete when he was 11, and those jobs are still standing there today just like new. We always took a lot of pride in our work and made sure it was done correct.
I've worked for HD Ranch my entire life. My family and I have raised and raced quarter horses. My Dad trained race horses. We have been fortunate enough that our horses have crossed over into the barrel racing. We raised the world champion barrel horse of the year plus over 10 other barrel champions. We also raised a horse that has ran in the NFR. We were 2nd leading breeder of the year in 2001.
