  • Responsible to oversee the daily operations of the Department of Surgery consisting of six separate specialties including the Outpatient Ambulatory Clinic
  • Maintaining licensure and physician credentialing and staff schedules
  • Monitoring budgeted operational expenses and working with department director to adequately request and budget for capital and non-capital expenses each year
  • Responsible for biweekly payroll for staff and physicians as well as recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
  • Submitting physician reimbursements to Physician Organizations while tracking budgeted expenses for each MD, NP and Physician Assistant
  • Responsible to monitor daily charge reports and correcting charges when necessary within EPIC and or correcting individual coding errors

True Blue award is a yearly award to honor an employee of Tufts Medical Center for superior services and dedication.  This award is voted on by fellow workers, staff, physicians and often past patients at the medical center. I can honestly say I was both humbled and honored to  receive such a prestigious award.
