undefinedI have written a children's book and a few poetry books. I love to teach children to enjoy reading and writing! I was interviewed and featured in a few homeschooling books many years ago, and worked for a then-popular homeschooling magazine and blog way back in the mid 2000's. My pay was free homeschooling materials and educational supplies.
I also spent one year teaching Asian children English online through a company called VipKid. That was a fun and interesting experience as I had around 40 different aged students from pre-k to 6th all in Beijing. They were 13 hours ahead of me and we had classes on camera every day. It was a great cultural experience for me.
I put myself through college as an adult while raising my three children and working multiple side jobs to make ends meet while my hubby recovered from sickness and time off work. And I graduated with honors.

I taught myself how to make lye soap years ago. I have recently gotten back into it and would like to make those beautiful artisan soaps that I see online. I find having hobbies very therapeutic.
