Satori focuses on participants being able to de-escalate volatile situations using our Assisting Process. The Assisting Process is a logical, sequential format that leads the person in crisis from the reactive part of the brain to the reasoning part of the brain to resolve the activating situation. Participants also learn what drives anger and aggression, the Five Principles of SAMA that can be used in situations not specifically covered in the program, Critical Beliefs that underlie SAMA, exercises for developing empathy for those served.
