  • Supervised a 3 office complex enforcing high-quality standards of operation.
  • Ensured compliance with SSA policies and procedures as well as federal regulations by conducting regular audits of operational practices at each location within the district. This included weekly meetings with managerial staff in all offices. My oversight of all operations resulted in a high performing staff that was regularly called upon to assist offices outside of my district.

  • As Admin Aide, I worked with the District Manager in managing time and attendance, office budget , and overtime and preparing correspondence at his request.
  • As Customer Service Rep I was the first line of contact for the public that came through the door. I answered routine and complicated questions. I issued Social Security number cards, and Medicare cards. I resolved problems, such as non-receipt of checks, change of address, and discussed overpayments.
  • As Claims Specialist , I interviewed the public to take retirement, survivor, disability claims, and supplemental security income claims to completion. I completed post entitlement actions on a daily basis. I maintained a full workload and completed my claims timely and accurately.
