Professional Experience and Awards

*Art Teacher-Covenant Christian School-17 years. Chosen Educator of the Year by The George Bush Library and Museum

*Judge for The Woodlands Waterway Art festival, TAPPS Fine Art Competition, and ACSI Art Festivals.

*I have designed and created “The Pioneers of Montgomery” . It's a five figure, full -sized historical monument. It is still in progress with two of the five figures placed. State Representative Will Metcalf presented me with a resolution for the project.

* I have worked on many commission pieces and have art ranging from bronze sculpture, Acrylic, watercolor and oil paintings, placed in private collections all over the U.S.

* I am currently directing a film that I wrote called Invictus Chronicles “Into the Hiding Realm”. I have designed all the sets, prosthetics, make-up and costumes for it. It will debut this March in a local film festival.

* I have painted many school logos in gyms, hallways and even a water tower. I have created and painted many murals over the years for churches and private homes.

* I created and directed Chalk Up Conroe that has been an annual event in Conroe Texas that is an all inclusive side-walk chalk event for the past 12 years. *I have entered my sculpture work throughout the greater Houston area in juried shows and have received many first place awards.
