Summary

I started to school later in life after having three of my own children. My children started to school and I also started to college. It was a definite challenge but a great decision! During my education profession, I worked with Elementary Learning Disabled students, Middle School Learning Disabled students, and Middle and High School Life Skill students. After working 20+ years in education, I decided it was time to retire to enjoy my husband, our pup, my children and my six grandchildren.

My husband and I live in Washington County. At the time, I spend a lot of time with my grandchildren. As the grandchildren are approaching school age, I have decided that I would like to pursue working with children again.

family, crafting, gardening, birds, cooking, and traveling

My favorite hobby is spending time, playing, with my six grandchildren. They range in ages from 3 years to thirteen years old. During the Pandemic, I started working on Diamond Art with my ten year old granddaughter. Just recently, I started enjoying my small deck garden with flowers, herbs, and a few vegetables. Many of my evenings consist of sitting on our deck enjoying the flowers, the birds, deer, and our Mini Golden Doodle while reading or playing a game on my iPad. I enjoy cooking and baking and trying new recipes. My husband and I have done some traveling which is always a joy! Within the last several months, I have learned how to play Mahjong and am currently playing with ladies from our neighborhood. I am also a Make-A- Wish Volunteer currently.
