Dedicated educator with passion for teaching, seeking part-time opportunities in substitute roles.
My classroom was a place of learning and growing. It was an emotionally and socially safe place to try new ideas. I used a variety of methods and activities to meet the needs of students of all abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and backgrounds. My management style is a no-nonsense, high-expectation, encouraging approach, which has as its foundation the preservation of the rights and self-esteem of the students. This allowed me to be a successful kindergarten teacher and has led to very successful substitute teaching this past year. I was regularly requested by teachers because they knew that I could a accomplish their plans successfully.
As a seasoned teacher, I know what classroom teachers need and expect from their substitute teachers I am confident in my ability to manage a variety of classroom procedures and content I truly enjoy students and teaching, and I look forward to continuing this as a substitute teacher My strengths have always been in problem solving with the students, accepting of their differences, and having a fun, productive classroom
