Manages a team of 42 staff members (Pharmacist, Automation System Analyst and Pharmacy Technicians)

• Manages budget and payroll
• Manages drug and inventory supplies
• Monitors the medication dispensing machines within the pharmacy to ensure supplies are readily available to staff for dispensing
• Trouble shoots mechanical issues with robots and other equipment
• Properly instructs pharmacy students and interns on introductory and advanced pharmacy practice rotations (Preceptor)
• Effectively prioritizes tasks and organizes workflow to increase efficiency
• Provides medication therapy management to patients using Outcomes and Mirixa (Managed Care Rotation)
• Alerts manager or designee in the event of an error and notifies prescribing provider and patient.
• Monitors/maintain budgeted FTE's according to defined budgetary parameters
• Achieves budgeted pharmaceutical and supply expense goals according to defined budgetary parameters
• Creates and completes all operational reports

• Assume operational authority in the absence of permanent leadership, ensuring consistency, accountability, and decision-making continuity.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance safety, productivity, and service reliability.
• Support special projects, recovery efforts, and strategic initiatives related to Central Fill and Home Delivery operations
• Provide direct oversight of Central Fill and Home Delivery pharmacy operations including robotic, semi-automated, and manual prescription workflows.
• Ensure uninterrupted execution of end-to-end prescription processing, including labeling, filling, pharmacist verification (manual and virtual), packaging, manifesting, and shipping.
• Maintain operational readiness during partial operations, phased recovery, or service disruptions, adjusting workflows and staffing as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Ensure staff competency through adherence to Harris Health Central Fill training checklists, SOPs, and workflow competencies.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for staffing concerns, workflow bottlenecks, and operational issues during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate with Information Technology, Facilities Engineering, vendors, and Pharmacy leadership to address equipment issues, system downtime, and operational needs.
• Participate in automation initiatives, vendor meetings, and system optimization efforts impacting Central Fill and Home Delivery services.
• Provide timely operational updates, issue escalation, and status reporting to Pharmacy leadership.
