As the morning barista position typically serves as the first point of contact post check-in and pre-activity event schedule, it is the duty of the barista to set up a positive and inspiring resort experience. Ease guests into "Miraval mode" by establishing a memorable connection whilst accommodating their beverage needs and expanding their palate when necessary. Provide drink service to 100% of resort visitors, remaining open and flexible in turning over a smooth transition from cafe to bar service midday, and rotate grab-and-go food options on a strict routine schedule.
Maintain stamina in a high volume, fast-paced sports bar with a large outdoor patio. Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor to establish a casual dining environment. Be knowledgeable in the food and alcohol menu to answer questions and supply recommendations catered to the customer. Make frequent contact between tables to stay up-to-date with orders and cashing out. Check in with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are communicated properly and being run in a time-efficient manner.

Absolutely love working at this charming family-owned motel and restaurant! Stock salad station, desserts, etc., wipe down kitchen areas to maintain a sanitary space, sort, polish, and roll silverware. Take food and drink orders after greeting the table with radiant energy. Verify with the kitchen staff if any obscure modifications are needed by the customer before entering orders into the POS system. Prep dinner rolls, salads, drinks, desserts, etc. needed in between serving drink and food orders in a timely fashion. Ensure customers have a wonderful visit and are eager to return.
