As a stonemason extern at Lincoln Cathedral, I played a role in the preservation and restoration of this iconic medieval structure. My responsibilities included pointing mortar to ensure the durability and weather resistance of the stonework, as well as executing precise masonry techniques to maintain the cathedral's structural integrity. I was also involved in the art of lettering, carefully crafting inscriptions that complemented the historic architecture. Collaborating with a dedicated team of artisans, I utilized traditional tools and methods to shape and install stone, while adhering to the highest standards of craftsmanship. My work contributed to the aesthetic beauty and historical significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, ensuring its legacy for future generations.

As a stonecarver extern, I specialized in the creation of custom stone elements. My role involved producing high-quality, intricately detailed carvings using a variety of stone materials. I employed traditional stonecarving techniques alongside modern tools, ensuring precision and artistry in every piece. Additionally, I collaborated closely with other stonecarvers to incorporate unique elements into projects, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. My commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail resulted in the successful completion of numerous projects that met and exceeded client expectations, showcasing the timeless beauty of stone as a medium for artistic expression.
