I am a Certified Vet Assistant and have been interning for 2+ years, and intermittently though out my early teens. I have worked with 8 different vets over the last 2 years to gain experience in large, small, ambulance, and mixed vet clinics. This experience gives me the knowledge to know how important working in the vet/animal field is and just how much of a difference can be made, even with just shadowing. I am looking to further the difference I have and can make by getting a degree and working in this field while I am college, and then beyond. I am currently attending Lubbock Christian University to earn my Bachelors degree in Animal Science. My schedule this coming semester allows for me to work afternoons most days of the week as a part time vet tech, receptionist, or other positions being offered. I am able to easily work with customers and animals safely and efficiently as well as adapt to stress and new tasks in my work environment. I'm a team player and work well with others. I have good communication skills, and I am looking a job where I can excel and move up from there!
