Summary

Hello, my name is Mackenzie Grace Martin. I am a graduate of Gadsden City High School and pursued a career as a pharmacy technician. After finding out, that that is not a field that I enjoy, I pursued education and loved it. I have been a children's director, daycare employee, office administration assistant, and Gadsden City Schools Instructional Aide. After working in education for 2 years I have decided that this field is not for me and would like to get back into the medical field but more on the office side of the career path. I'm looking for a career that I can grow at, not a temporary fill for this season in my life.

  • Daily, I serve Tier 3 students in 4th & 5th grade with reading intervention

  • I use the Open Court curriculum intervention guide, workbooks, and assessments
  • I also service 1 group that shows dyslexic tendencies, with the SPIRE intervention curriculum
  • The only reason that I would not be able to follow my daily schedule is because I am being used to cover a classroom all day (substitute), or my students are taking a test.
