Licensed registered nurse with six years of experience in both Washington and California. Four of those years floating to different units across multiple facilities. Comfortable working as a float nurse within multiple campuses and units, shift by shift. Experience in working with different specialties and adapting to various and often challenging work flows. These perspectives have brought increased compassion, patience and empathy for patients and coworkers. This work environment allowed for learning new things with each shift and I had to become comfortable with a wide range of acute care settings. The years of float RN experience has allowed continuous growth and challenge which has made me a better caregiver.

Charge Nurse - UWMC Transplant Surgery and Renal Medicine 

• Lead and supervise the team each shift by assisting other nurses on the floor, creating safe and appropriate patient assignments
• Advocate for nurses when their patients need a higher level of care and assist with expediting this process
