- At The Modern Pup my responsibilities included managing other employees, providing customer service, including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments with our online software, taking payments from clients.
- My responsibilities also include bathing, drying and brushing dogs of all breeds and size with the appropriate technique and tools to prep the pet for farther grooming. As well as providing full or partial grooms for the pet according to owners requests. Other tasks include but are not limited to cleaning ears, removing ear hair, brushing teeth, checking for fleas/ticks and any apparent skin issues to bring to the owners attention.
- I am also responsible for keeping my work space clean and tidy as well as keeping kennels clean and sanitized as well as other work surfaces throughout the day, and end of day clean up and prep for next day.
- I also manage the shop social media.
