Summary

As an educator, my vision for teaching is to create an inclusive and dynamic classroom that inspires my students. My main goal is to empower my students to unlock their potential and to reach those “Ah-ha” moments. It is important to me that students cultivate academic excellence and hard skills, as well as the soft skills that are essential to life outside of school. To do this, I aim to tailor my curriculum to be both challenging and relevant, adapting to accommodate the various learning abilities and interests in my classroom.

The indispensable message that I hope to give to my students is that every student can make an impact on the world, whether that is in an academic context or not. I want my students to not only gain knowledge and skills in my content area, but also develop critical thinking, creativity, and resilience, preparing them to navigate a constantly changing world. Overall, I want to inspire my students to continue to grow and learn and have a sense of self-efficacy.
