Performing routine maintenance tasks on assigned auxiliary engines, generators, pumps, and other engine room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Participating in emergency drills and being prepared to assist in emergency situations related to the engine room. Understanding the operation and maintenance procedures for various marine engineering systems, including fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems. Participating in ongoing training to maintain competency and stay updated on new technologies and safety procedures.
