Observed prescriber ordering medications and performing treatments to improve patient health outcomes. Observed NP communicating effectively with patients, families and colleagues regarding diagnosis, prognosis and treatment options.
Physical Therapy Assistant, Happy Hooves/Strides in Motion, Elburn, IL. May 2023-August 2023. Volunteer Position. Hippotherapy: Physical therapy on horses for children with various disabilities. 30-minute physical therapy sessions and 30-minute riding lessons. The job included side-walking (held gait belt while child was on the horse), working on core strength and balance, thinking games, and flexibility.
