General Education Student Teaching Field Placement, Keystone Elementary School  - Croydon Pennsylvania - 4th Grade   January 2022- April 2022

  • Implemented lesson plans for all academic areas based on the Common Core curriculum.
  • Carried out lesson plans through various methods of teaching including direct instruction, small group instruction, whole group instruction, and one-on-one instruction.
  • In the curriculum plan the school used, I created framework goals and objectives for different physical, emotional, social and cognitive development expectations for the students.
  • Managed a classroom of 23 students independently using behavior management strategies. Ensuring that the guidance I was giving is appropriate and timely.
  • Collaborated with coworkers to develop lesson plans.
  • Participated in parent-teacher conferences, and communicated with parents the growth and development of each student.
