research interests & statement

My research focuses on bias in the perception of common crime scenarios related to victim and/or offender familiarity. The objective of my research is to determine whether ingroup bias is strong enough to influence the perception of "fairness" in regards to legal punishments. I also seek to determine the underlying causes on ingroup bias.
