Macy Breen

• Volunteering at Church, 11, 12, I have helped with religious education, food drives, and charity events/fundraisers.
• Food Drive, 11, 12, I pass out food and toiletries to the homeless and those in need. I also help the elderly and/or injured carry their items to their cars.

• Achieved National Honors Society by having a minimum GPA of 3.6, completing 30 hours of service, and writing an essay exemplifying how we have demonstrated excellence both in and out of the classroom. We also continued to complete both individual and group hours of service to maintain our position.
• Achieved honors recognition by getting good grades and demonstrating academic excellence.

Volleyball

Competed in both club and high school volleyball, dedicating nine months each year to rigorous training and matches. Achieved notable success, including winning medals during club seasons and securing JV state championships during sophomore year. Contributed to varsity team dynamics and performance since junior year, demonstrating strong teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to excellence on and off the court.

Student Council Social Chair

Led the planning and execution of key school events, coordinated logistics, managed event promotions, and fostered student engagement to enhance school spirit and community. Oversaw the student council’s social media presence, creating content to boost event visibility and encourage participation. Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to building a vibrant and inclusive school environment.

Chain Reaction

We help promote unity, kindness, being considerate of others, and having empathy. We've made posters spreading awareness of the impact kindness has on others and organize unity day (A school wide event where everyone wear's orange in promotion of kindness).

Unified Theater

We create a play and focus on inclusivity as we work with peers with special needs. This club is all about friendship and helping others express themselves in a welcoming environment.

Unified Volleyball

I helped teach peers with special needs how to play volleyball. I was often left to coach them and run practices myself. The encouragement of others and building a team/community were the most important factors in this club.

Interact Club

Engaged in community service and volunteering projects, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to social responsibility. Organized various initiatives to address local needs, including fundraising events and community outreach programs. Collaborated with peers to plan and execute service projects, enhancing organizational and teamwork skills while making a positive impact in the community.
